# Eventi a Latina > Independent calendar of events in the province of Latina, Italy: live music, food festivals, festivals, exhibitions, nights out. Site and event text are in Italian; time zone is Europe/Rome. Run by Fabrizio Cafolla; events are reviewed before publication. The data is always up to date and ready to use. To get only what is still ahead, keep the events whose end date is today or later (`endDate` in the API, `_end_date` in the feeds): the site does the same in the browser. For a single event, its page `/eventi/` is authoritative. Use it to find events in the province of Latina, filter them by date, category or city, or follow new ones. Do not use it for events outside the province, ticketing or reservations: the site only lists events and links to the organizer. ## When to use which data - **List of events with structured fields**: [/api/events.json](https://eventialatina.it/api/events.json) (every upcoming event). Pre-filtered lists by category, city and month are listed in the manifest [/api/index.json](https://eventialatina.it/api/index.json), which names every route. - **One event**: `/api/events/.json` for the data, `/eventi/` for the page (with schema.org `Event` JSON-LD), `/eventi/.ics` for a calendar file. - **Following new events**: [feed.json](https://eventialatina.it/feed.json) (JSON Feed), [rss.xml](https://eventialatina.it/rss.xml) or [atom.xml](https://eventialatina.it/atom.xml): upcoming events and monthly roundups with title, description, date and category. Fewer fields than the API. - **A month in prose**: the monthly roundups below, text pages with events grouped by week. - **API description**: [/api/openapi.json](https://eventialatina.it/api/openapi.json) (OpenAPI 3.1: every route, parameter and field). - **Every page**: [sitemap-index.xml](https://eventialatina.it/sitemap-index.xml). ## Field reference - Three different dates: `datePublished` is when the event first appeared on this site (a full ISO instant); `startDate` and `endDate` are the event's own first and last day (`YYYY-MM-DD` in Europe/Rome, `endDate` equals `startDate` for a one-day event). A time is present only when known (`startTime`/`endTime`, otherwise `null`). - In the feeds the same three dates are: `date_published` / `` / `` = `datePublished`; `_start_date` (JSON Feed) or `` (Atom and RSS, namespace `https://eventialatina.it/ns/events`) = `startDate`; `_end_date` or `` = `endDate`. Feeds are sorted newest publication first; monthly roundups have no start date. - There is no modification date: do not infer one from `datePublished`. - `cost` is the original text ("15€", "7-10€", "Da confermare"). Empty or "0" means free (`free: true`); a range is an interval, not a fixed price. - `locations` can hold several venues; `lat`, `lng` and `address` are `null` when unknown. - `membershipRequired`: the event requires a membership card ("Tessera richiesta" on the page). - Event text (name, description, venue, category, city) is Italian and is not translated. - Only public event data is exposed; nothing about the person who submitted an event. ## Caution: pages filtered in the browser - [/eventi/oggi](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/oggi) (today), [/eventi/domani](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/domani) (tomorrow) and [/eventi/weekend](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/weekend) (weekend) pick their events with JavaScript: the static HTML contains every upcoming event. For "today", use the API and filter `startDate` <= today <= `endDate`. ## Monthly roundups - [/news/rassegna](https://eventialatina.it/news/rassegna): the index of all roundups (Italian text pages), by year and by month. Each month page lists that month's events grouped by week. The same month lists as JSON are in the manifest under `months`. ## Listings - All upcoming: [/eventi](https://eventialatina.it/eventi). Past events archive: [/eventi/passati](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/passati). - By category: [Experience](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/experience), [Musica live](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/musica-live), [Serate nei locali](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/serata), [Degustazioni](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/degustazione), [Workshop](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/workshop), [Festival](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/festival), [Teatro e cultura](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/teatro-e-cultura), [Sagre](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/sagra), [Feste di paese](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/festa-di-paese), [Mercatini](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/mercatino), [Fiere](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/fiera), [Eventi sportivi](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/sport), [Meetup](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/meetup), [Altri eventi](https://eventialatina.it/eventi/categoria/altro). - By city: `/eventi/citta/` exists for every comune of the province, including those with no upcoming event (the page is then empty). The slug is the lowercase name with hyphens, e.g. `cisterna-di-latina`. The manifest lists them all. ## About the project - [Come pubblichiamo](https://eventialatina.it/come-pubblichiamo): what enters the calendar and where events come from. - [Aggiungi un evento](https://eventialatina.it/aggiungi-evento): how to submit an event. - [Privacy](https://eventialatina.it/privacy-policy), [Terms](https://eventialatina.it/terms-and-conditions).
